Things to know about the helmet: 1. It’s expensive and 9 times out of 10 your insurance doesn’t cover the whole thing and 2. getting fitted for it is a nightmare. If you can get past those two things, you’re set.
Danny doesn’t hate it. For the first few days you have the helmet on for an hour and off for an hour and take off during nap and sleep. Each day you add another hour and add nap time and sleep time. We’re currently on the 23 hour a day wear now and I feel like he only hated it so much in the beginning because it was on and off so much. I take it off of him for his bath and to clean it (with a toothbrush and soap) and it goes right back on.
HAPPY FIVE MONTHS
I can’t even believe has quick the past five months have gone by. Blows my mind. He’s doing so well. He was on the most expensive formula ever, Similac Alimentum and we were finally able to switch him. He’s doing well with it and I feel like spitting up so much less. Sleeping through the night still, thank God. We haven’t started any cereal or food yet.. his pediatrician doesn’t really care about the cereal since he’s sleeping through the night and putting weight on. Which is making my life much easier.
He is the easiest baby. I was a little anxious adding another baby into the mix with everything being so crazy as it is, and he has just fit right in like he was here the whole time. He’s a much easier baby then Cabrey ever was and I’ll blame that on the fact that she’s a girl, we can be difficult.
